Robert Balsamo, Vice President, Product Strategy
Robert is vice president of product strategy and leads the systems engineering and architecture team that is responsible for specifying the system/product architectures and the detailed engineering requirements for Calix's product solutions, as well as all systems product marketing and management. He has over 25 years of experience in data communication and telecommunications, in which the majority has been in access networks. In his previous senior management positions at AT&T Paradyne and Paradyne, his responsibilities included VP of product Management, marketing and business development and VP of global carrier markets. Additionally, Robert spent several years at Tellabs where he was responsible for international marketing of their carrier class router/switch products specifically designed for Tier 1 carriers.
